We are so thrilled to welcome you to our studio family for another year of imagination, growth, and vibrant artwork!
Art Studio ARTISHOCK structure their core fine art curriculum into age-appropriate tier levels, alongside programs for teens and adults:
Artishock I (Ages 5–7): Introduces fundamental visual art concepts through five basic elements of shape (form, size, placement) and basic elements like color, line, and texture. Students learn to perceive shapes in their surroundings, progress from “flat” pictures to 3D still lives, explore color mixing, and start keeping drawing journals.
Artishock II (Ages 8–10): Focuses on refining drawing fundamentals and introduces more complex color theory and mixing. Covers line drawing, value, modeling, space, planes, and negative space using mediums like tempera, watercolor, and oil pastels. Students also gain access to supplementary Art History discussions.
Artishock III (Ages 11 and up): Advanced level for students with established fundamentals ready for deeper exploration of perspective, proportion, foreshortening, value, and complex composition. Utilizes materials including pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pastels, and oil paints, while encouraging plein air work and art history integration.
Teen Art Club & Adult Programs: Year-round instruction covering formal drawing skills, experimental creative problem-solving, and specialized studio time for older students and adults.
