If you feel need creatively express yourselves and create in your unique styles as well – Artishock 3 is for you!

This is a great course for the young artist who has the fundamentals of drawing and wants to go to the next step exploring color and mixing. Students will be encouraged to work from objects, still life and their own imagination. Also, we will try to go on a plain air. Tempera paint, watercolor, oil pain and oil pastels will be used in this exciting course.

Subjects: Line Drawing, Value and Modeling, Perspective, Space /Shape/Planes, Texture, Proportions and Perspective..
Still life, Landscape, Portrait. Animal Drawings and Human figure.

There is considerable variety in the lessons which range from drawing objects by feel (rather than sight) to cylinder studies and geometric line drawings, from foreshortening and perspective to still life and negative space, from pencils drawings, collages, to oil paintings. Students will learn how to keep a journal of their drawings as a record of their growth.

Also, Artishock 3 students encouraged to attend an Art History Class. During the Art History class students discusses a famous artist and his or her artwork. Questions to promote discussion about the artworks help students to evaluate art and appreciate the different styles and elements involved.
